a new

eden

where

all

mankind

can be

induced

to fall

is surrounded

by the

flames of

enchantment

trying  to

go on

living

despite

everything

the vanity

and transience

of human life

facing

and battling

with those

forces

destined

for total

darkness

man is

in a state

of mind

where

distinction

between

good and

evil is

obliterated

our lack

of understanding

of our worldly

motives

succumb

to uncertainties

and doubts

with the

threat of

insignificance

facing

us all

the

letting

go

of the

past

the

ending

of past

ties

and

attachments

one is

trapped

in a

frenzied

world

where

nothing

lasts

everything

in it

is blending

together

in a

vague

and

incommunicable

dream

the universal

coatrack

on which

to hang

all of life’s

unpleasantries

is on the

brink of

collapse

man’s

greatest

snare

is his own

illusions

about

himself

foolishly

struggling

for some

ideal

or another

an eternal

dreamer

indulging

in the

goods

of the

material

world

where

everything

is permitted

until the

cumulative

burden

of conflict

becomes

too great

increasing

the

capacity

to be

savage

to one

another

the greatest

suffering

arising

from

betrayal
